POSTING PHOTOS TO THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISOR BLOG & MESSAGE BOARD

1. Upload your photo to a location on the internet and veify the URL by accessing the photo with your browser (1).

2. Right click anywhere on the the photo to bring up the drop down menu (2).

3. Left click on the "Properties" option at the bottom of the drop down menu (3).

4. The "Properties" screen will show you the actual size of the photo on the internet. In-order-to show properly the image's width cannot exceed 666 pixels. If the image exceeds 666 pixels you must use a photo application to resize the image to no more than 666 pixels wide. EXAMPLE: an image resized to 72 Pixels per inch at 9.25" wide will be 666 pixels wide (72 X 9.25 = 666). Once the image is correctly sized upload it to an accessable URL on the internet.

5. Right clicking on the photo uploaded to an accessable URL on the internet will confirm the URL address of the photo (5).

6. Clicking on the photo icon (6) of the SCA Blog or Message Board will add 2 [img] tags to the comment window. Paste your image's URL address (5) between the two tags (7).

Add any aditional comments or descriptions to the dialogue and click on the "Add Comment" button. If you need help resizing your photo, eMail Captain Howie at howieman@howies.net
